this clock is a great addition to our rustic looking family room. the wood background and metal make it unique. the negative is that it was almost impossible to read the time with the silver hands. running out of solutions, but went to craft shop and purchased gold metallic oil paint marker and colored the hands. now our clock looks good and is functional
