My lantern never worked /charged correctly

Koleman lights the way!
I have Koleman on our patio to light the area around the step. His lantern is in the sun all day and the light lasts past midnight. I haven't stayed up longer to test. So that's about 7 hours of lighting that I know of. He goes well with Benjamin, Lefty and Righty bears.
