The lamp is made well and is sturdy and looks nice on my bedside tables.
Before purcahsing i phoned the company to ask if the lamp shade was WHITE, which was important to me. She called the distributor and returned to my cal with the answer YES, it is. um, NO it's NOT. It's gray. of course, too big a hassle to return 2 lamps after opening, etc.
